I was born and raised in Rhode Island and am very proud to hail from the smallest state in the country.  In 2000, I graduated from Millersville University in Pennsylvania with a degree in Biology (concentration of Marine Biology) and a minor in Chemistry.  After working as an environmental consultant for about 5 years, my husband and I moved across the country to sunny San Diego where I began my teaching career as a science teacher to students in grades 4 – 9.  In 2007, I took a job at High Tech Middle Media Arts where I taught 8th grade Integrated Math and Science and earned my teaching credential in science.  I became part of the Mueller family in 2011 and earned my teaching credential in math.  In 2012, I decided to go back to school and in 2014 I graduated from San Diego State University with a Masters Degree in Education with a focus on K – 8 Math Education.  I have also been working on reviewing math curricula for Discovery Education for their upcoming techbook and am part of a NOYCE Master's Teaching Fellowship through SDSU.

I am excited to join the Bayfront founding family as it is an exciting opportunity to continue to watch our students thrive on their pathways to college and beyond.  In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my husband and my son doing whatever the little man in our lives wants to do that day (he’s 3 so he runs the house).
